The Fashion Innovation Award is a call to Innovation aimed at existing companies and start-ups who have a technology or product which has the potential to widely disrupt the world of fashion.
In the framework of the 5th Fashion Innovation Award, Kilpatrick decided to sponsor the Award firmly convinced that it could be both a challenge and an opportunity. For every startup with a fantastic idea there is a brand crying out for a solution. But startups need support to make their offer viable. If revolutions in fashion include e-Commerce & omnichannel evolutions, new millennial expert customers, new technologies, processes and products, new skills and expertise, the right resources are must-have assets.
To further deepen the topics, in the “Innovation Meets Fashion” session of the Fashion Innovation Week that will take place on March 26th at LAC, in Lugano, Kilpatrick will promote a round table hosting a few key players of the fashion industry to discuss the importance of human resources and their ability to adapt to an ever-changing world, of modern skills the current challenge requires as well as the importance of flair for innovation.
Based on their long-standing background in the Executive Search market, Kilpatrick chose to turn their attention to the dynamic world of start-ups who have a technology or product with a highly disruptive potential in the fashion world with a mind to sustaining their growth by hiring talented professionals driven by an innovation-oriented thrust, in line with the company’s values and vision.
The aim of the session is to share and benefit from the experience and best practices of Key Note Speakers who, despite belonging to different contexts and scenarios, all have a feature in common – they are identified as “Digital Fashion Leaders”.
The session, moderated by Kilpatrick CEO Jaap Hoekstra, will host:
- Enrico Moretti Polegato, Chairman of Diadora, the leading Italian brand in the sports field that for more than 60 years has been manufacturing and selling athletic apparel, footwear and accessories.
